03/04 cobra coupe wanted

looking for a nearly perfect coupe with no accidents under 40k miles under 19k .more stock the car is the better for me.window sticker and certificate a plus.prefer to buy one in the area and color is no issue but has to be clean inside and out.theres no rush do to this due to winter around the corner just started looking.

This is a friend of mine. He is a good dude. The price is a little higher than what was in your range but the miles are low and the car is clean. I don't thing you will find a better deal.

I appreciate it very much for the reply and i have talk to the owner already and he seems like a very good guy but i want to spend slightly less and your right i may not find a better deal.i need to be paitient and see what comes up here.

Speaking of wanting a mint for Terminators! Wow. He has a bunch but all are overpriced.

It figures when i couldnt afford one there was good deals and now im ready theres not so many.I even looked on the auto trader and they are over priced also.

Good luck finding one not $24000 with 50 to 60 thousand miles. I just looked on craigslist and found none in your price range with lower than 60000 miles. Some wanted 26,000 with 46 thousand miles!! Just get a new 5.0 you can finance them longer and would be around the same payment. Just curious what was sticker price on a new 03 04 cobra?

My vert sticker end for just under $41k new when I bought it. Coups were in the mid 30's. you were able to get either for $3-4k off of sticker on average.

I hated that car and would buy any S197 car over it in a heartbeat, especially a new 5.0.

With the 03 and 04's theres a few things that factor some of the prices. Ones with 10K or less miles will pull stronger by quite a bit. Also if the car is whippled or kb'd will see about 2-3K more than eaton cars. That being said, there are a ton of crazys out there with some beat terminators asking outrages prices. Depending on dealers, they my be your best bet. My friend in NC that I sold some of my supercharger parts to bought a 2004 MysticChrome with 19K miles in ext. shape for $19K from a local dealer. Winter coming, should be some stuff out there. Best of luck and will keep my eyes open for you!

Not all 03s are ann. They are a limited production that consisted of two tone black and red leather seats, carbon fiber look steering wheel, shifter boot, and I believe door pulls on the inside. They also have the 10th ann graphite wheels and 10th ann. on the SVT badge on the trunk lid. Only came in Silver, Red and Black.

Just out of curiousity... why? Seems like most Cobra owners LOVE them. I have never had a Termi or a new 5.0, like I said... just curious

If you look at 90% of the for sale ads they all want to sell to get into the s-197 platform. Dont know why but it seems like ed isnt the only one who feels that way. But what does he know he traded his cobra for a foxbody!!

Foxbody and a pile of cash that would buy that POS fire chicken you are trying to sell and still pay for a trip to Vegas. What I hated most was the fit and finish of the car. Everything on the snide was cheap plastic that made every noise imaginable. From a driving standpoint, the balance and the handling of the S197 is worlds ahead. Of course that is to be expected when you finally redesign a vehicle platform after 25 years.
