    Terminator Value

Well instead of keeping that other guys thread going off topic anymore than it already has. Why you think value is staying so good? Why buy an 03/04 termy when for alil more money you could get a 11' GT? stock to stock the 11' GT seems to out perform the old platform in everyway.

To me they arent worth it. More like high teens, just like the c5zs that are still bring mid to high 20s to me thats way too much.

Intake, exhaust, port, pulley, tune, tires = 500rwhp and high tens @ close to 130 for around $2000 in mods if you buy off forums.

Things are worth what people are willing to pay for them.

And his car also went 10.1s and sold it for 50k... Could you get 50k out of your cobra or drive it to the track and run 10.xx on 18in drag radials?

If you didnt have a cobra right now. Would you pay 20k+ for one with 60k miles?

I'm not all caught up in what my car will or will not run... it's not the issue, it's what he spent on it. don't spin this around, you made the comment that cobra guys have too much money

I said that termy guys have too much money because you stated that they sell for what people will pay for them. So if ppl have the money to pay 20k plus for an almost 10yr car is alot of money.

    just like the vette guys

These are just opinions. I never said anything was set it stone.

And EVERYTHING is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. To someone who isnt a car guy, yes they would say your chevelle is not worth 50k. For instance my dad. He thinks the car scene is the biggest waste of money there is. Just like the total opposite. You could find that one guy who bought it brand new and has missed it and willing to give 100k+ for it.

I made the thread to stop tearing that guys wtb thread up anymore than it already was with off topic bs cuz he was actually looking for one.

The other thing is that the age might be, and probably will be good for the Terminators. As the years go on, less and less will be around. Production numbers are also way less than the GT500's. Just might be a theory, but I have no doubt that the 2013 GT500s will always have a value to keep just like the Terminators years down the road. Same as with the 1993 Cobra's. If you ever happen to find a Teal on Black with low miles, look to spend 20K. Are they out dated? yes, Are they out performed? yes, but the value will always be there? yes

Look at what a 2002 T/A WS6 with low miles goes for? Still pulls very strong money. Would I buy one over a new Camaro? Absolutely!

I agree with this and think that is why also. And I do have to admit and it seems like they are rarely driven. Cuz you never see 100k mile ones. Most are around 40k~ miles on them.

Not as much as you think anymore. With the LSX cars from what I dealt with and see is that certain mods actually do help the value of the cars. but a stock 02 ws6 with medium miles is a 11-13k.. Modded ws6 if right mods. 15k. Its weird.

True. I didnt start this thread bashing the termy. I actually like them. And love wickedsnake03s car. I was just curious what everyone thought why they are still going as strong as they are. Its a good thing except if your trying to buy one haha..

Im a sucker for mods. I will pay more money for a modded car if done right. I almost did not buy my previous 2002 GT just because it was bone stock down to original tires. Put wheels, on and a few little bolt on's and sold it for a couple more thousand than I paid 2 years before.
