Only the low mileage GN's bring decent money. The higher mileage ones even as exceptionally clean as mine was only brought high single digit $.

I learned my lesson and my next car will be bought already built from a reputable shop. So i dont have to spend the extras thousands haha

hey, what the hell! I think the terminators will hold their value much better than the gt500's. Much lower production, and just that "x" factor that they posess. They represent the start of the badass cobra's, and IMHO are still the baddest

Even with that, you will do your own changes. I wasnt happy with the power level that I had. Drove it for 400 miles and has been torn apart ever since. Will eventually get done. Looking to buy a house, so other things get put on hold.

Cam, you know the only part that I like about Transformers is when Megan Fox is leaning over the engine bay!

The way I looked at when I bought my 04 was that for $24k i bought a mint condition 600 rwhp car that is also very rare, only 281 built in Comp Orange. It is one of, if not the most sought after colors in a terminator. My car has a ton of suspension and brake work done to it also. This car should still be worth close to what I paid for in 5 years. If I wouldve bought a new GT for low $30's I would have a great car but one that is mass produced and will most likely be worth less that $20k in 5 years. And not have near the "wow" or "fun" factor that the Cobra has. So looking at a terminator vs. New 5.0 was also a wise finiancial descision for me. If buying a car could ever be considered that, at least thats what I told the wife!!

I think they hold value because they were the baddest of the Mustangs for their time, and theyre a 2 year only run. Think of all the classic muscle cars that are limited run and how sought after they are. Figure there were what, 22,000 terminators built in 2 years, and take into account how many have been wrecked etc, and theyre just gonna maintain value IMO. The GT500 is a bad ride, but I really feel like the 03/04 Cobra will be a legend, given what it meant to muscle cars when it came out, and the atory behind its development.

Totally unbiased opinion here too. I remember growing up and hearing about my dad talk about his 70 coronet like it was some kind of legend. I feel like I'll be able to tell mu kids about the 03/04 Cobra in the same respects. And hopefulky I'll be able to take them to the garage and show them what all the fuss was about.

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump

Terminators still hold value for a few reasons, 1 is due to the huge price gap between them and the shelbys, the other main one is the attitude they portray. They have timeless style that will never grow old, just like the Buick GN and Fox Mustangs. Yes, the new 5.0s are badd ass but they are just GTs, not a low production hot rod. I love my 11 500 but I still think the 03-04 cobras are the coolest cars out there, they are what pumped life back into the Mustang back in 03 and people will remember that for ever. For the 1st time since the fox cars were ruling the streets, the 03/04 Cobras would spank the Camaro hands down.

Little off topic, but it's one extreme to the next from the terminator to a new edge GT. If you wanted to build a cheap car you can get these for 5k or cheaper all day long with average miles. Obviously it's bacause of all the newer faster stuff out now...
