    SOLD!!! 1994 Cobra SVT 347

    Hi folks,

It is time for me to sell the '94 Cobra. This is one awesome car. I bought it from a good friend here on SCS. He is very particular with all his vehicles and this one is no exception. Below is the For Sale ad from when I bought the car. Current mileage is 101,xxx which means approx 12k miles on the current motor ( 347 stroker ).

I have only driven this car in nice weather ( June thru September ). Sure, I got caught in the rain a few times, but if the weather wasn't nice when I left for work, the Cobra stayed home in the garage and I drove my F150 to work.

I have a perfect spare set of tan Cobra floormats. And I am pretty sure the previous owner also has another set of new tan Cobra floormats.

Just so you don't miss it below, I put new tires on the car back in June, so they have less than 2,000 miles on them. Easy miles. No track time. No burnouts. The tires are Hankooks - 255/40/ZR17. The new tires are not shown in the photos.

    Car cover included as well.

While this car runs VERY strong, it has great street manners. In fact, my wife actually wants to keep the car as she really enjoys driving it. I like when she drives it as well, as I like to stand in the driveway as she pulls away from the house and gooses the throttle. Dang does this car sound fantastic!!

Price is $9,000 firm. And once you go for a ride you'll realize why. Over $15k has been invested in this car.

I know several of you have expressed interest in this car in the past. I'm sorry, but I can't remember exactly who all of you were, other than John, who has since bought a black GT ( I think ).

If you are interested just shoot me a PM.

    Thanks guys.

    Ron

    1994 Mustang Cobra
    #662 of 5009 build

This Cobra is the type of car hard to find. It looks, runs and drives great, in excellent condition and has already received the upgrades everyone is looking for! This car has approximately 101,xxx miles on the odometer and about 12,000 miles on the new, professionally-built, naturally aspirated 347. The exterior is black clearcoat with a saddle leather interior. Exceptional condition for a ’94!! The engine was built by Jason Ore at 955 Automotive in Erie, PA. I have every receipt for this car.

The upgrades made to this car were very carefully thought out to allow it to be enjoyed and driven anywhere without the common problems associated with heavily-modified cars. This car was built this car to handle 5,000 rpm clutch dumps on slicks while maintaining the ability to drive it cross-country without issues. You will not find many 94/95 Cobras like this one.

This car appears very straight and shows no signs of being involved in an accident. I have the Carfax. Every small VIN sticker is on every body panel - both front fenders, both doors, decklid, and front bumper. Yes - all of the VINs match. This car has always been garage kept and has no rust at all.

    Ron,

If you didn't buy this car when you did I was going to buy it. Since then I picked up a different DD that is suiting me just fine so good luck with the sale of this car. Looks like a ton of quality parts on it. I would love to rock it daily but will be content with what I have for now. GLWS

    I'll vouch for this one!

Ron let me drive this car one evening following a Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix meeting. We went for a quick spin and with 366 rwhp it will spin them quickly!

This is a well-sorted package that pulls hard off the line and just keeps getting stronger as the revs climb.

You'll run the risk of annoying new 5.0s when all they can see are the taillights and there's no blower-belt under the hood. The car looks so stock it will surprise most anyone.

Good luck Ron... anybody seriously considering this car better have room for it, because once they hit 3rd gear with it they'll want to take it home!

Hey Bob - I just realized you still have the Cobra specs in your signature! Just today I was asked about the compression ratio - and from your sig I see it is 10.5:1 !!

I have the SVT certificate and the original window sticker, along with a ton of receipts for the parts & work done on the car.

I believe the block has been replaced. All the necessary work was done by the engine builder - Jason Ore - when he assembled the stroker.

The car has A/C but it currently is not working. The previous owner ( 94Cobra here on SCS ) told me the A/C stopped blowing cold when he installed the newly-built stroker. It could be something as simple as needing refrigerant, but I honestly don't know, as I never use A/C and didn't pursue getting it "fixed".

The car also has keyless entry, the Mach 460 stereo, and an in-dash CD player.

The FR500 steering wheel is an awesome upgrade as well.

Let me know if you have any more questions. I'll answer them as quickly and accurately as I can.

    Thanks.

I bet she'd like the tan interior once she outran you in your Ranger!! :D

Seriously though, black interior is nice, but it gets pretty hot. The tan definitely is cooler in the summer months, and I think a "used" tan interior always holds up better than a "used" black interior. At least when it comes to the older Ford leather seats. The S197 interiors seem to hold up much better than the Fox-body and SN95 interiors, as Ford finally has improved on the quality of its interiors.

You have all that sweet garage space...the Cobra sure would look nice in there!!
