Today I shampoo'd the carpets, cleaned & conditioned the leather seats, adjusted the clutch, and installed new header collector gaskets ( they were leaking just a little and not much sounds worse than an exhaust leak of any kind ). I tried the aluminum ones from Mr. Gasket & so far they seem great. Took her out for a shakedown run and wow - she sounds SO much better...at idle...gentle acceleration...full acceleration. And then some more full acceleration. :D
My apologies to the guy in the Anniversary Model White Trans Am with the single blue stripe down the middle...I sort of gave him a major fly-by during the shake down run.I thought he would have seen me coming and dropped down a gear or two!?!?
