    Heater Core Change!!!

I had to chage the heater core on my Capri today ....

On an early 4 Eye car without factory AC, You take the glove compartment door off, remove 4 screws to the access panel, drain the coolant a little (about 1/2 gallon), remove the two hoses, then you see this ....

Just about an hour from start to finish :D It would of been nice if they would have done this on all cars ;)

Wow - that's one heck of a lot better than the later foxes, where you need to remove the dash, rear axle, hatch, and license plate just to get to the dang core!

Lol, I'm home this week so this will be my daily ... Need defroster in the morning this time of year ;) The week before last I tried to take it one morning and made more steam than I cleared :)

I think I'm done racing for the season.

I did one on my last '85GT w/AC years ago. It took all of Labor Day weekend! That was the only time I wasn't happy to have AC!
