    Who knows the 1994 Cobras?

Hi, I have decided to sell my 94 Cobra and I have a dispute about the SVT
emblem not being on the rear. I have tried to ex plane that in 94 the Cobra
didn't have one. That started in 95.
Please chime only if you know the facts for sure or have done your homework.
    Google it?
    Thanks Guys

No we know it's a cobra the question is weather or not the 1994 came with the SVT badge in the rear.

    Thank you 83dropboy

Ok that shows what a new 1994 cobra looked like -No Badge-

The SVT badge was used in 95 but not 94

The 94 was a bit of an odd Cobra ,, Flat hood V-6 rear bumper and the brake lite was
in the spoiler only in 94-95

Well,,,, The guy was looking at the pictures and wanted to know where the
SVT emblem was,, After all I did advertise the car as an original near show room
condition car. I tried to explane that the 94's didn't come with an SVT emblem.
But he insisted that I was wrong That's why I put up this post to get some input on this subject. After all there are some Mustang experts in here.
The only reason I know a little about the 94 Cobra is because I own one.
Maybe I'm just a little to touchy about someone telling me my Cobra is not correct when I know it is.-- I think most "car guys" are that way

Anyways anyone else that knows for sure have any input on if a 94 came with a SVT emblem?

Are you talking about the one that is usually on the trunk?

My '94 has the SVT badge on the trunklid.

But the '94s had "MUSTANG" embossed on the rear bumper - not "COBRA". ( I know that isn't what you're discussing here, but thought that might be contributing to the confusion. )

I think they have the emblems too, I think the only difference between 94-95 is the sideskirt molding behind the front wheel

The SVT badge is worth 18 horsepower. I think that badge was added to Ron's car... that's part of the reason it's so fast.

I put an SVT badge on my riding mower and now I cut the grass in half the time with double the horsepower!

Seriously, Ford makes thousands of cars. Even if the '94s came with a badge (and it looks like they didn't), if the bin of SVT badges was empty when your car rolled down the assembly line, does anybody think Ford would stop the entire factory while they waited for some guy to finish his coffee break and refill the bin?

Proper and original aren't always the same.

Yes. I bought and put the SVT badge on the trunk of Ron's Cobra. I like the look of the badge, but it wasn't born with a SVT badge on the trunk in 1994.

I see the evidence has been found above, but it is true that NO 94 cobras came out of the factory with an SVT badge on the trunk lid.

If the guy wants to be an ass about it, tell him to pound salt and go find himself another car.

That or give you enough of a deposit and you can stick one on, or pry one off, depending on what he want it to be ;)
