    Vibration in Drive train

Ok my vert has a vad vibration in the shifter. I thought the rear end was off because the bushings were bad. I put new upper and lower control arms. Vibration is still there. It is bad at high speeds and or rpms. Its not the damper pully. At 80 its real bad, even when I pull it out of gear and shut the motor off. Any more sugestions?

if you still get it at high speed, in neutral, with the motor shut off. Means it is either back half of trans or further back. driveshaft, diff, or axles. I would first check driveshaft bolts, and give the front yoke a push up and down to see if there is any play in the output shaft of the trans while your under there. did you have the driveshaft off recently and not reallign the pinion flange to the yoke??

my old 95 did that when the gears werent aligned properly...something about the backlash being off.

I already changed the drive shaft thinking that was the issue.

how's your trans mount? just a thought but if it is starting to crack,or sag, like all the stock rubber ones do, might be part of the problem. and when you swapped driveshafts, was there any output shaft endplay in the trans?? alittle is ok, but not much.

I still think it is an alignment angle issue with your rear end. Many things can cause it, torque boxes or control arm mounting points pulled/shifted from stock, control arms not the correct length (one or more), anything bent, bad mount (trans or engine if they are really bad).
If it does it in neutral with the engine off, that eliminates the engine totally (along with the balancer and flywheel/clutch assay's). It is transmission rearward where your problem lies for sure..
