Lou can transfer the current vb4 license to the new owner. I never did a vb4 upgrade here due to some resistance from the membership.

I didn't know you was this serious when you mentioned it the other day Lou ... My issue is that I know what running a forum involves, lol ... after a stint as an Admin on a big site.

If it comes down to it, let me know before you "turn it off".

Well said! I too enjoy this sight very much. It has been a part of my daily routine for 6 years. I wish i was computer savy enough and had the time to maintain it and funds to purchase it. It would suck if one day it wasn't here anymore.

I agree with travj31 and 2011GB/CS. If it comes down to someone not wanting to buy and run SCS on their own, I would be willing to purchase SCS if someone would take full responsibility of running it. I do not have the time or the knowledge to properly maintain it. If anyone is interested in talking about this, send me a pm. I would hate to see it go.

I'd be interested in running it for that price. I might need some technical support every once in a while. Jeff, (burntire) would you still be willing to help out after the site is sold?

The DB stuff is pretty easy to pick up on, luckily most of it is already done and you can learn as you go. I would entertain it, but I don't really know what kinda time I would have to work on it.

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump
