If/when a new owner buys SCS should the name remain the same or change it to something else? I say keep it as SCS because that's what its been since day one.

I don't post on steel city much, but I vote change it.
Steelcityspeed rolls off the tongue nicely, but idk if that would be infringing upon pittspeed too much

Name should stay the same. This has been blown way out of proportion.

I think that should truly be up to whoever buys it. I know I'm not the only one to refer to it as SteelCity & would like to see that part remain anyway. I have no preference either way

I'm thinking www.scottisasteelcitybitch.com would even work. Me & Greg would definitely be active members

Changing the name on forum programs is not that easy. A lot of it is embedded in the program when setting it up. You can do it but its a pain.

If someone actually pays the asking price what would the point be to change the name? You're essentially paying for a brand name, no matter how insignificant it is. Someone can setup steelcitymusclecars for a hell of a lot less then $2500.
I'm shocked there's interest at that price to be honest

End of the world is here. Changing name of site!

I like this site's current name and format.

I vote stay the same if it would come to that. I personally like the fact that its primarily a Mustang/Ford site. Why I joined in the first place...

I like www.steelcityspeed.com
I've suggested this site to quite a few friends & relatives that have nice fast cars, trucks, etc... and tell them its a really cool local website with a wide range of gear-heads and always get the response of..."well im not gonna join a mustang forum since I don't have a mustang" Then I always rebut with..." Alot of guys on the site has different types of cars". They don't seem to care and just wont come over based solely on the mustang emphasis in the sites name as they assume its all die-hard mustang guys that will bust their balls for having something other than a mustang.
I think the www.steelcityspeed.com would bring in a much wider audience and still keep the vast majority of the mustang crowd that's already here.
Just my opinion.......;)
maybe i'll buy that domain name ^ lol
