I just don't understand why someone would pay for this site then change the name. Domains are cheap. Hosting is cheap. Spend a few weeks figuring out how to set things up if you don't already know. So what are you paying for? A user base?

It doesn't matter if the people don't want more traffic, if the new owner does and can generate more revenue then its kind of a no brainer. That decision will lie with what direction Mike wants to go with the board. I wish Mike the best of luck as hes a great dude and a magnificent business man!

Thanks again everyone for the support, it's greatly appreciated! I understand that we have members that would love to see the board opened up to other makes and models but thats what makes this place different from the other local offerings. While I'm a domestic muscle car fan in general, the Ford Mustang and Ford aftermarket industry IMO owns a large portion of the domestic street and track scene. Thats what makes this site unique and judging by the lack of success with the other local forums who are far more broad in their approach to be more appealing to their potential community base, I think it goes to show just how strong this site and community really is! What this site has needed for quite some time is actions on the fresh ideas and desires that the community has been asking for. I will do my best to act on that

I would LOVE to pull something together last minute but it's just too late. With the amount of people we turn out for events like this, getting somewhere to host a quality Christmas party last minute just isn't going to happen. I would be more than happy to throw together an impromptu cookout at the shop but thats the only suggestion I really have for a last minute situation like this...
