    Asap

I just made an appointment to have the stang power tuned at automotive service and performance (ASAP) in Allison park. He uses the dialbo chip not SCT. I don't think I'll pickup that many pony's since I'm NA but I need to raise the rev limiter. I was wondering if anyone heard anything about them, since I had a bad experience with Stropes in Washington.

    Thanks
    Mike

Umm, I second Mike's post. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Look to LaSota or SGS, both are great places.

Yes, I agree go elsewhere. Try big shot dyno in Hudson Ohio, there less than 2 hrs. away and do great work, thats where I had my car tuned.

come on guys... that place isnt that bad.... picked up my car after a dyno tune with no oil pressure, and only took 4 months for him to put a DSS motor into it, and took it back 3 times until the head gaskets werent leaking.... fed me a bunch of BS the whole time, charging me for stupid odds and ends that never even ended up on my car.... but overall its a great place

btw, my favorite part was when he sent out my GT40P heads to the machine shop to get checked and had $600 worth of work done without even getting approval...

Boy I'm glad I posted this! I'm canceling that appointment tomorrow!!! I was looking at getting a Tweecer to raise the rev limiter what do you guys think about that. I hear they aren't the easiest to tune yourself because you have to know all the codes in the EEC-IV. But it shouldn't be that hard to raise the rev limiter and leave everything else alone until I learn the system.

Rev limiter is a REAL easy change with TwEECer. Once you get it installed, and talking, literally open the scallars, find the limiter, change the value, the "write tweecer", its done. If you are at all interested in it, download their software and have a look around (its free). I havent played with the A9L or the like, but might be able to help you around as I do have the bin files.

On edit: I cant make it to the track the 21st weekend, but will be there after that if you want to see it live on my car.
