You know, I haven't been on here in a long time (so long in fact, I had to re-register my username!)....but how did I know that I would find a thread about one or more Riva cars breaking records, LOL! Congrats to your dad, Paul! Great numbers for sure. It takes all of about 2 minutes of reading this/looking at the pics and I want another stang again!! I still have the pic Tracy took in '04 of my car launching up on the wall in our den, with the time slip there too. I'll never forget that day, OR CECIL! I'm going to have to try to make it to the race in the fall, no doubt. Paul, give me a call some time - I'm curious what's happening with your car and how the family is doing. Hello to Molly!

Anyway, just wanted to say hi to everyone, rob sorry to hear about your car man - sounds like you're turning some good numbers though. Joe, not sure if you remember me, I was the guy who gave you the jump on your expedition at PRP last year (had my dad's blue chevy truck and trailer parked next to you). Congrats on your numbers too, hell of a car you have there. Troy - hello to you too!

    Mike

Rob, Troy - I've been good - it has been a while since I've seen either of you. Rob, I think last year at PRP was the last time, I was up there with Dave - can't remember exactly when. And that would be who I was with when I met you, Joe - we had my buddy Dave's black '95 cobra in the trailer. You might remember him too, he was bs'ing with you for a bit.

Glad to hear that things are well with all of you, especially with the cars. I can't believe the times you all are turning. Paul has said it before and it's true, some of the fastest stangs in the country are right here in this area....AWESOME Hopefully I'll make it out to the track again soon so you all can talk me into buying another stang soon, LOL! (don't tell my wife that)

Take care and good luck! See you 'round soon hopefully!

Between 5,200 and 6,200 this outing. Believe it or not, I was leaving @ 6,600 rpm at the last rental at PRP.

Are you even pushing the clutch in at all when you shift?? An untrained ear might think you had an automatic in that car!
