mainly talking about the zl1..for 580 hp its quit pathetic. my buddies dad bought one a few months ago. i know my H/C/I fox would destroy it. i think my stock 03 cobra would be a good run for it too. I've just heard for so long from the other side that ford has to have a sc to compete. all of sudden gm is putting blowers on everything so i had to rub it in. and the new 5.0 is na and its competitor is a sc camaro. like i said, the tables have turned

p.s you guys know i am only stirring the pot for some fun, right??

he lost one time due to spinning. a h/c/i 347 fox with a stick and street tires is a little bit of a challenge to hook up on the street. the other few races he won. anyone can drive an automatic vette..anyone even you

and hes lucky i wasnt driving

And you have to admit that ford has stepped it up.

I will be the first one to admit i would get a new 5.0 over a 5th camaro anyday of the week. Even thought bout a coyote in a sn95, but the cost of them just is too high right now. I honestly believe for the coyote to be a good canidate for a swap is that tey need to put it in alot more than just the mustang for the cost factor. Thats where lsx parts decimate the ford stuff. I can post 15-20 cars right now that have stock 5.3/6.0s with a turbo running 8s-9.50s in fox's and u can get a 5.3 for 650 bucks and fab up turbo kit/fuel system for 2000.. Its hard to beat that.

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump

Don't need to go to that extreme either. But it seems thats the only arguement these LSx guys have anymore is "I can buy a junkyard motor, and shove it in a rusted out Fox and run XX.X"

Ok... cookie? I respect them for their speed but it seems like thats the only arguement you hear now.

For the most part, Fords equal or beat GM in HP per CI comparisons.

That holds true then and now, right up to the level of Master Engine Builders.

However, Ford engineering is more "advanced" than GM.

    On that note....

Ponder what a Boss 7.0 coyote could do to an LS7?

You know you want to see it .... sooo badly.

i agree they are expensive but what isnt anymore..only reason all these guys wanna putting lsx motors in mustangs nowadays is because they know they dont have a chassis worth a shit.

Then you get the "those cars are only 4 bolt? They must not have any balls....

That bothered my gm friend so much and I never understood it. I've never seen any negative effects from only having a four bolt wheel and putting Lots of hp to it.

nothing wrong with 4 bolt especially with some good axles. as far as im concerned an 8.8 with some good axles is just as good or better then a 12 bolt. sure as hell better then a "5 lug" 10 bolt
