TR6060 Poopy, especially in Fords

TR6060 is actually a much better transmission than the T56, there really is no dispute to this.

What makes it not work properly is the garbage hydraulic clutch system FORD designed to go with it and the garbage remote mounted shifter setup.

Yea, its not a fluid thing. This is actually a very very common issue that affects the 2010-2013 GT500, C6, Viper and Camaro. It's the remote mounted shifters that suck balls on these cars due to torque bind.

i do like supras though but they are way more overpriced than the 03-04 cobras by far

GT-R is like a fat girl. Not much to look at, but knows how to give a good blow job.

Can't argue that is performs better than a lot of cars stock for stock. Runs 10.70s off the showroom floor with stock 20" radials.

The transmission tremec designed (TR6060) is quite good. It's the garbage hydraulics and shifter Ford designed around it, suck balls.

I am hoping my MGW, torque limiters and motor mounts solves this torque bind issue so the remote mount has some chance of shifting 1>2

If this doesn't fix it, I may go off the deep end and have a 4R100 put in, ****er should crack off a 9 something then lol.

Ya, Ray. He and I have been mf'ing these trannies for some time now. My car has been at the dealer for two rounds of warranty work.

first round was the syncros, gears, blockers etc replaced
second round was a revised clutch and revised ford shifter

When they replaced the internals there was some chewed up teeth, but neither solved the problem.

Dealer agreed to install the other parts to see if they fix things.

I must be in the minority... i think the GT-R is a pretty damn good looking car... i'd sport one as a DD if i had the $$ laying around.....

Only thing i don't like is that since it was the second coming of God to the import scene, everywhere you go, you'd have some dude in his honda civic humping your leg....
