So 10.42 is "taking it easy"?

Concidering the fact i was so paranoid to break the car since im driving it 6 hours tomrrow for vacation I didnt wanna go that extra 1000-1500 rpm and harder launch to "Risk" breaking it lets say. lol Track was preped very well. besides some 2nd gear tractions issues, but a lil lower tires pressure fixed that. Really liking the new management at prp and these street car nights.

That pass was against me after they made us dial in and ran us bracket style - ****in' badass Cobra, that thing absolutely rips. I was watching you freight train down the track in my side mirror, praying I could hold you off until the stripe. LOL

Man that was great. My best pass prior to that race was a 10.75 So i said screw it dialed in at 10.70 I never bracket race and was like wait why is he going first. then it hit me ooo bracket race duhh. then at end of track i normally just let out when that light comes on to who ever won usually when i leave out so i know im not braking before the end. and my light didnt come on I was thinking sweet maybe i got a 10.6 pass I was syked when i got the 10.42 pass. Good stuff man had a blast. and thank you! I didnt know if i was ganna catch you or not !

I don't, wish I did. I think that PRP was taking some videos and pictures that night, and other people there were too, so maybe something will pop up.

Pics link... really cool they have them up so quick:

    http://www.pittsburghracewaypark.com...et+TNT%2F&var2=

If that doesn't work, hit the PRP home page and follow the links.

What did you guys think of the dial in runs? Like 'em, hate 'em, indifferent, cool for something different?

Could take or leave the dial in runs, but i can honestly say, that was the best time I've ever had at PRP. Laid back, grudge racing, band. It felt like a party. keep the street night!

If this thread and the "Cam your car sucks" thread were combined I think the universe would explode due to excessive WIN density.

Don't even joke about combining those threads. The threads are both mysterious and powerful. Their power is only surpassed by their mystery

That's fair... I know brackets aren't for everyone. Just keep in mind, Greg is trying to attract new racers, period, and if giving a round or two dialing cars in might encourage a racer to try the Saturday brackets, it's worth it.

BTW - June 4 is DEFINITELY on!! Let's hope the weather cooperates better.

I thought the brackets were fun. If you are running for slips or T'n'T then you are ignoring the other guy anyhow. I don't have the time to come on Saturdays for the formal brakcet racing so I thought it was fun on Tuesday.

That is really cool. Nice pictures too. I hate to keep sack riding PRP on it but again, that event was awesome overall. Like Cam said, the band, the grudge lanes, the number of passes...it was a blast. No one I'm missing the next one.

I was amazed they took a picture of my Lincoln... I mean seriously, who takes a 6-cylinder 4-door Lincoln to a drag strip? I'm not even going to mention its automatic transmission lest you all think I'll be Camaro shopping next!
