Lund Racing tunes the Fastest Standing Mile Mustang in the World at 220.8 MPH

12.76 @ 114.04 bone stock. Koni yellow coil-overs, BMR watts, LCA and LCA relo brackets, Borla S-type axle back.

1966 Coupe - 331 stroker - Bullet custom roller cam - cam and motor installed and dyno tuned by Rodeheavers Hot Rod - Astro A5 - McLeod RXT - 486 to the wheels - more fun than my little tires can handle

That was a custom built, 2500 HP twin turbo, 2002 Camaro.

Impressive for sure, but not really a tuned Camaro.

That mustang didnt seem just tuned by the description and a huge 4.2 blower..

The only car faster than that camaro is a ford gt done up the same way but only .3 away.

You dont see too many mustangs at those events so definetly a big accomplishment on oing 220

Adding a bigger blower, cams, etc, to a Shelby GT500 5.4 that was already
supercharged seems more "tuned" to me, verses hanging twin turbos on a
Camaro that was NA. Which is more open class to me.

    The description of the Shelby:
The car features an L&M Engines built 5.8L motor with a 4.2L Kenne Bell Supercharger pushing ~26 psi of boost breathing E98 all built by Power by the Hour Performance and tuned by Ken Bjonnes of Lund Racing.

That's a fairly built car I would say. Not as much as some of course, but it's not just a tuned bolt on car that's for sure.

    03 Cobra=slow show car...

So your basing your theory on it just being "tuned" as building and stroking it past stock and throw a huge blower and its just "tuned" because the motor that it didnt come with factory had a blower on it to start?

But yet the camaro is a complete insane build cuz it put tts on it and thats not how they came from factory?

    Ummm..

So if i punch out a ls7 to 500+ ci its just tuned?

So a bone stock car with a turbo kit make 350rwhp is built but a bored/stroked, cam'd, with every aftermarket part available and a huge aftermarket blower is just tuned because it came from factory fi?

Sorry dont make sense. Like me saying my west coast l92s were stock heads

Just saying, the Shelby seems more of a "super stock" build (enhancing the design).

Where they totally re-engineered the Camaro design for competition.

That does make a big difference for comparisons.
