    Accessory power

Where is a good place to get accessory power when key is on? Is there any place under the hood of my 93 that provides power with the key on? I can only find constant power. I need this for my fan.

Not sure (will check right now) but that would be perfect just to trigger the fan to come on. The main power is on the solenoid.

Save yourself the trouble and run it in the car and there should be spots in the fuse box. If it a fan or f/p you wanna run it off a relay.

You dont want the fan to run constantly, It will burn up in no time. It really only needs to be on during stop and go traffic. While driving, it will never come on. The vehicle moving will keep it cool. Get a wire kit for it. Summit sells them for around 40. Or just get a coolant switch from the auto parts store and wire one up your self. Call me and I can tell you better about it. Kinda a long story.

I have it hooked up to come on at around 180 degrees. It is wired to the solenoid though. That means if the car is parked and the rad heads up again the fan will kick on.

Thats allright then. Most cars do that. It will shut down in a few seconds or a minute.
