An FMU is a band aid and should be used to get the car to the tuner. The only thing ive been hearing, is alot of tuners are staying away from fox cars because they're having issues with wiring harnesses ect. I think terry still tunes fox body cars though.

I believe Street Lethal is the only site vendor that will tune foxes. They are great guys up there!

I agree with the FMU band-aid statement, but I ran a FMU for over a year without many issues. FMUs are ok, but there is no comparison between a tune and a FMU.

There might be an underlying problem with the car like yeahloh said.

We only tune 96+ for many different reasons but you definitely need to lose the "calibrated maf" and fmu. Get your self to a good tuner and as long as the car is mechanically sound you should be good to go!

That may be common with the 95 and older stuff and I'm not saying it doesn't work or you cant use it but your car will tune out much better with an SCT or Lightning maf than one of those injector calibrated maf's. They also make an adapter so you don't have to cut up your maf harness.

    Good luck!

Take the fmu off. Put an 80 mm meter and 42's on it and an anderson pms. Tune it in 20 minutes. Get an meter that doesnt have a supercharged calibration. Makes it harder to tune
