8.0s are impressive on a 10.5 I have a buddy with a camaro that runs 7.90s on 10.5s and a little quicker on one kit but to run 9s with a sealed stock motor is more impressive to me

I was right at line on that pass for the JPC Mustang. They are advertising it as sealed 5.0 crate motor. I would believe it too, Justin is a pretty stand up guy and they wouldn't make a big deal about it if it wasn't true. I'm sure the car will be running the NMRA Coyote Stock class, and they will tear him down there if there is any doubt. I don't think the car is Coyote Stock legal when it made that pass, but I can tell you the Coyote Stock guys are already in the 10s with a sealed crate motor, and they are handed an ECM the weekend of the race.
That car has a faceplated trans and weighs 2865 with driver.
and a good comparison is a 2800 lb car to a 3400 lb car?
Here we go more ci blah blah blah. The same excuse ALWAYS given. Im not a nut swinger. I have had MANY mustangs and GMs. Its just funny to see how everyone on here gets so butt hurt when anything other than a Ford is posted. Now we can see why this site doesnt get the traffic other sites do![]()
come close i think its beating it pretty badand i agree i wish we had more good tech on here

dude u r the biggest nut swinger there is,
theres a few things..... u dont have a car at this point (to busy with fonzie), u ls babys cryed about the 03/04 cobras having blowers, and u r constantly talking up ls cars giving no respect to any other brand,
Ls is old news now, kinda like the foxbody 5.0, is now old, doesnt mean there not good but theres better stuff out there, realize that, until u do buy a box of tissues cause ur ls aint on top anymore.. ps i still love u scott dont be mad
"Now we can see why this site doesnt get the traffic other sites do"..... Scott, I love you man, but shouldn't diss the site for being a Ford site. I thanked Mike for keeping it SCS. It might be a smaller group, but theres a lot of great guys here that have same common interest.

Scott doesn't know the meaning of a apples to apples comparison. He talks a lot of game for not having anything to run. Prior to me selling my Trans Am, he would always mention that he went .06 quicker in the 1/4 but would always make up some reason he couldn't bring his car up or something of that sort.
To whoever said about LS crybabies crying about the Almighty 03/04 Cobra having blowers, I've lumped up on a lot of them & been beaten by a few also. While the 03/04 Cobra is a great performer, it isn't the end all, be all of cars like some people on here would like to think.
Before I get called a "nutswinger" also, I have my preferred brand of choice, but am not so narrow minded that I stick to that brand only, no matter what. I've owned a little bit of everything especially for my DD's & my wife's vehicles. I have a pretty cool Mustang build of my own going on right now, however I won't post it on this site, because I'm sure people will cry about what I did to a "precious" Mustang.
I do have to agree that the Coyote is currently the motor to have, just like the LS1 was the motor to have. It goes back & forth between GM & Ford. Always has, always will. The Coyote is the best thing to be in a Mustang probably since the pushrod 5.0 left in 95, so it's about time Ford got off there ass & built a Mustang that runs. We will see what happens when the GenV LT1 appears in the new Corvette, there might be a new king in town, it may also be a pile of scrap. Who knows.
This site has potential to be something decent, even if it is a Mustang oriented site, however people need to actually post worthy & correct stuff as far as tech goes. It seems like a lot of threads get train wrecked because someone has to spout off about something. I think Mike is going in the right direction with the site for sure though. OK, rant over & I don't feel bad for posting this in Scott's(the cheesestick bitch) thread.
