Buy a gt with a chick stick instead!! Got the 2 things all drag racers need ... A trans so they can shift and a rear end that won't handle.

Lol at the irs debate yet again.
A SRA would definetly be at the top of the list, if that was an option for you.
Sra destroying an icon? I Guess the 2013 gt500 is junk cuz its sra. Lol

No, the GT500 was designed with a rear axle they have made tons of those cars. the Terminator cobra was made in limited numbers. and they are no longer made... so lets have these drag racers buy them, and turn them back into GT's.
they may take a corner or too. but run a few turns real hard, on uneven pavement and they just won't handle the articulation .
ok if a SRA is NOT for handling, why didnt ford put a IRS in the Boss 302 Laguna Seca which is directly made for road tracks?
But back on topic. This seems like a nice light kit for ya. I dont know what kinda budget you have though.

Ummmm.....WHAT?!?!?!?
Mine handles like its on rails
I guarantee I have pushed my car harder than you thru turns it shouldn't have made....it handles amazingly for a junk SRA. Guess Maximum Motorpsorts and Hotchkis have it all wrong.
I'd love to see an IRS car pull the front wheel thru a turn like an SRA car will when properly set up. I've personally sen several mustangs do this.

It was not developed quite a lot of expense goes into switching a cars system.
it does look like a good kit. That guy on the left is crazy I miss seeing him on muscle car, he's quite entertaining.
I didn't chastise live axle in its entirity.. my trans am's have them. and they can be made to handle really well. those companies have done great jobs at making those cars handle well. There nothing that will bring the same level of absorbing the pavement imperfections. a lot of things go into the handling of a car...... but cutting up a car made for one thing to re-purpose it for something else is a bit silly in my opinion.
that whole pulling a wheel thing... don't see the point... last i checked the object of the game was to keep your rubber on the road.

Thanks guys, like those kits. I'll keep looking, i'll figure it out.. I like the parts on American Muscle too
You got the right track of where you wanna go, without going on with the debate. If you plan on keeping irs for a while def get the FTB kit
Good to go, to be honest i just figured an overhaul of my suspension would have to help with my ET's considering 3/4 of my suspension is stock and except for an aftermarket s/c i'm finally out of performance parts to buy for this money pit
