    New Site Colors

As many of you know, I have been in talks with a company to completely rebuild the forum and upgrade the software. It's going to be a little while before a new site is live as there are many decisions to make and work to be done.

I have been going back and forth over what the site colors should be, many have publicly made suggestions on here. I am leaning toward Red, White and Blue as they are easy on the eyes and for other obvious reasons. Black and Yellow is another popular color theme that numerous people have been suggesting to me as well.

Just wanted to put a pull up, if you select other please post up at least 2 color suggestions and if you have a link to a site with those colors please post that up too!

    Thanks

    Mike

i voted other. Red white and blue could look cool too. I just aint into the whole steelers thing. I understand its pittsburgh based and all. But there are members from everywhere now. black and yellow reminds me of bumble bees. Or my buddys wifes black car when she decided to drive on some fresh painted yellow lines.

I voted other as well. RW&B wouldn't be bad - I'm just not a big fan of the white background. I really like the gray we use now - it is really easy on the eyes...literally.

A medium blue with black & gray would be nice - and very Ford-like. Some red accents could be nice in there as well.

1966 Coupe - 331 stroker - Bullet custom roller cam - cam and motor installed and dyno tuned by Rodeheavers Hot Rod - Astro A5 - McLeod RXT - 486 to the wheels - more fun than my little tires can handle

1966 Oldsmobile Toronado - currently NOT on jackstands

Just looking for ideas on colors, the designers will give me options as far as what color is used where when we are designing the layout.

    Thanks

Red, white and blue is the mustang theme colors and is friendly on the eyes, that's why so many have suggested it to me. I'm also a big fan of different which is why started this thread and pole, looking for other ideas as I'm only doing this once!

I don't think the current colors are bad either, that should have been another poll options, so I just added it!

No, everything is going to be mocked up and tested first on a test server. Once everything has been verified we will have to shut it down for a few hours or so to get the finished product up to date and live. I'm going to try and have this done overnight if at all possible. I will know more once we get the new theme and layout completed.

Mike, I'm a member at foxtbirdcougarforums.com and they have a generic color and at the bottom is a box with a choice of colors that members can choose to customize it for themselves. I like it and I have mine set on gun metal. Just a thought.
