Your link isn't working for me. heres another one:

    http://www.autoblog.com/2013/01/15/s...-detroit-2013/

....So if you want an 850hp supersnake with a widebody that is going to cost:

price of gt500 itself + $40k for 850hp supersnake option + $15k for widebody. YIKES!!!

Yeah - pricey - but it looks badass and it is nice to see them stepping up to be able to put some of that power to the ground.

Sorry about the bad link. I must have fat fingered with the phone.

nah, not doing it for me... widebody looks great on 'Vettes, but not on that.... save the $15K, car looks better without it

But what's the point of 850 hp if you don't have enough tire to get it to the ground? I would like to see it in person and compare the performance numbers to the stock body car before making a decision.

No reason to buy the wide body kit, Vorshlag is running a 315 up front and fit a 345 in the rear on a 12" wheel on an '11 GT. I believe they had to go to a different rear sway bar to make it all fit.

Maybe if the price wasn't so RGDD you guys would like it more? I think it is nuts too - but the car isn't THAT bad.
