Steel City:

People are threatening to leave because they are frustrated by recent changes. Guys aren't going to just up and leave, but I wouldn't be so quick to just tell long time members to just leave the site at the slightest hint of frustration. Without these guys, you don't have a site. Maybe have a mod explain why posts disappear rather than just delete things at the slightest hint of what may become an argument.

Nothing better than some 60's muscle. Had a friend of mine say "i cant wait till electric cars are everywhere, instant torque!" I replied theres nothing better than the rumble and feel of an old muscle car. He just laughed and said "sure..ok"

If it means less bullshit I'm all for it. Like Mike said to me when he was taking over the site.. He couldn't stand the BS. It's not hard to see why. I initially tried to help you by deleting 1320goat's posts to keep the thread clean so people could talk about your cars.

The problem with people threatening to leave.. Well the worst part is the bandwidth wasted when they post that they are like people are going to actually care. Like was said already, if a member is so unhappy here just go away. Have a nice day!

Thanks for your feedback, I understand not everyone likes change, thats never an easy thing. Speaking in general, of course I don't want people to leave but I also don't want people on here that don't want to be on here! Those are the people with attitudes, those are the people who start the BS, those are the people who ruin the site for everyone who enjoys it. As far as moderation goes, Mark was just trying to keep things on topic even though Bill had other plans with post #7. I agree, everyone could use some thicker skin at times but IMO Mark seen exactly where this thread was going and he did his job.
