i'm with cam - i don't see the camaro in the rear, but i'm also not sure what i think of it - regardless of initial impression, something tells me i'll love it when i see it in person...... those saying it looks like a camaro are just being haters - and they always will be... can't post a superior car on a mustang site and expect to get away with it...

Furthermore, i'm a little disspointed in their choice of engine naming convention on this as well, but that's their choice - i'll just roll with it... people picking, bitching and moaning about little details like that are just, once again, hating on it because its a GM .... nothing new, nothing to even give a crap about

i'm dissapointed there is not Lemans Blue.... but, the other light blue color looks like it'll be sweet too..... most of all, i'm glad they're finally going to allow the option of "saddle" leather interior..... i HATE tan interior on basically any car, but to have black carpets and that orange-ish brown saddle leather, as is traditional in the german and italian sports cars, is absoltuely gorgeous... no matter how ugly it looks in pics, it always looks bad-a$$ in person....

Bishy, I don't hate the Camaro nor do i hate a Vette. I almost bought a Camaro before buying my Mustang until i sat in a Camaro and saw the interior. And, when sitting inside it i felt like i was looking out a mail-slot. I also love C6Z's. I just think they could have done something different with the tailights instead of them looking like Camaro tails.:)

Not sure. Have not heard any news. Once can only assume it's even going to exist. Lets hope.

How do you guys think the release of the C7 base model will effect the prices of a C6Z? Obviously, I think the prices of a standard C6 will begin to come down, but the Z06 is still in a different class in my opinion. Do you think there will be much drop in prices over the next few months/year? What about the C5Z's? Its hard to believe that these will basically be 10-13 years old already.

imho, its too hard to predict.... right now, people are wanting more for C6Z's than they wanted 2 years ago... at one point, you get pick them up really cheap, as they had really dropped in price.... now, they're not moving any more.... i think they'll hold value until the C7Z comes out...

Also making i hard to say, different people are level-headed, and others are crazy... there's people still asking some crazy prices for C5Z's, and even some C5's in general... people try to replace sentimental value wiht a dollar figure, and it just doesn't work out...

Profile is pretty nice actually. The first pics didn't do the car any favors.

If the motor is certified at 450bhp as per the estimates I would guess 410rwhp would be a good guess.... I can't wait to hear what the motor puts out on E85, from what I hear its going to be beastly.

The straight on front end shot looks very much like the new viper which looks like a ferrari. I do like the side view and the rear though.

So..less than 10% loss through the drivetrain...somehow I doubt that.

On a side note, I'm a die hard Mustang guy and that vette looks bad ass
