Other than similar taillights, I don't see much camaro in the rear of it. Maybe when I see it in person I will like it better, but not feeling the view from the back at all. I don't see me chunking down that much change for a two seater. It wouldn't get much use without a back seat.

Why is GM calling the motor in it LT1 ?

So confusing. It's same size as current LS3. 6.2L, will have cylinder deactivation-mode (V4) for mpg and direct injection. Supposed to make over 450hp. As well, it should, I would think with direct injection it would pick up more than 20hp. But, back to the LT1 moniker... WTF?

how about LS10 (or LS5000 LOL!) or LR1 or anything that sets it apart.

I don't think that is much of a question... two totally different animals you are comparing there, basically a 638 HP race ready street car, to a 450 HP ready to go get 18 holes in.

i'm with cam - i don't see the camaro in the rear, but i'm also not sure what i think of it - regardless of initial impression, something tells me i'll love it when i see it in person...... those saying it looks like a camaro are just being haters - and they always will be... can't post a superior car on a mustang site and expect to get away with it...

Furthermore, i'm a little disspointed in their choice of engine naming convention on this as well, but that's their choice - i'll just roll with it... people picking, bitching and moaning about little details like that are just, once again, hating on it because its a GM .... nothing new, nothing to even give a crap about

i'm dissapointed there is not Lemans Blue.... but, the other light blue color looks like it'll be sweet too..... most of all, i'm glad they're finally going to allow the option of "saddle" leather interior..... i HATE tan interior on basically any car, but to have black carpets and that orange-ish brown saddle leather, as is traditional in the german and italian sports cars, is absoltuely gorgeous... no matter how ugly it looks in pics, it always looks bad-a$$ in person....
