    Winter project..

    My non car project.....I've been getting after my garage.
    put some recessed lighting in this weekend definitely a huge improvement

    code says basement must be insulated, so because i plan on finishing it i studded and insulated on the inside. BUT because theres no drywall they make you rip off the paper. fire hazard....stupid

    I believe the paper on the insulation faces toward the living space. If it doesn't have paper, you bought sound batts.

    Looks good Jim! I put up nine 8-foot lights last fall in my garage. Now I have a bunch of cleanup to do before the '14 gets here.

    this garage is just going to be for storing my cars in/showcase kind of thing. in the other side of the room you cant see eventually im going to have a bar and carpeted. otherwise wise I would have went with some fluorescent lights

    Looks great. You can't possibly drive both cars at the same time, so I volunteer to drive that Mach 1 around so it doesn't feel lonely. :D
