I like it a lot, price doesn't seem bad at all, low mileage and great color combo, he has obo so there's some haggling room!

Seems like a ton of money for an 8 year old gas 3/4 ton IMO.

Thats a pretty good price for a 2005 F250 SD with 54,000 miles on it. Trucks have been ridiculous. I think hes up a few thousand on it, I'd probably only pay 13,500 or 14k for it, considering it is an 05, but its honestly a pretty good deal I think.. Its still low on miles and an extended warranty can be bought for it, so its still valuable I think!

    I don't see the point of a 3/4 ton with a 5.4.... What a turd.

X3....My 08 regular cab long bed had the 5.4, by far the worst motor I have ever had in a truck. No power, 8-9 city and 11-12 higway...6 when towing.

    stay away

Nice looking truck, but seems like it's a cruiser instead of a hauler.

Like mentioned, motor is a turn and they had issues with the spark plugs blowing and gaulding to the threads. Be VERY careful if he goes to change the plugs.

The spark plug issue and possible hung injectors would be enough for me to stay away.

Are those 5.4's really bad in those year trucks? I drove numerous ones at work and never seemed to have any issues, granted it was an F150, but I figured that was the same 5.4 they used? The 4.6L I drove was the one I wasn't impressed with, no torque and no power for a truck. Again, I've never owned one, but the ones I had driven never seemed to give me any problems.

My brother-in-law has an '04 F150 Super Crew FX4 with the 5.4 that he bought new and it rides really nice and has held up really well for him. Granted, it is garage kept and really pampered, but so far he has had zero issues with the truck. Seems to have plenty of power. Granted - he isn't towing with it - but the interior is great - the ride is really nice - and it seems to get out of its own way pretty well. I'm sure the gas mileage isn't great, but unless you buy an ecoboost you can't really expect much in the way of fuel economy.

The EcoBoost only is rated for 23 HWY. Simplistically, I don't think anyone driving a truck should expect much in fuel economy. Thats why I still don't own one, I drive 65 miles round trip for work. I know thats not a whole lot, but even with my fusion its 50-75/wk for work alone. If I only had to drive 5 miles it wouldn't be a big issue lol.
