    ABS Inop Light

Had to put my WS.6 in storage (an open barn, covered) this past summer because I sold my house and was looking for a new one. When I picked it up the ABS Inop light was on. I am assuming maybe sitting for a little while being 1/2 outside a sensor may be corroded. I know you cannot read the code with a regular scanner and a special one is needed.

Anyone have experience with the ABS Inop light? Any insight would be appreciated before I start digging into this.

I had an ABS INOP light on my twin turbo T/A after we had done the big project - but, despite that light, my ABS was actually a little OVER-active, so i never really bothered with it.... I think you're right, i'd guess its a sensor problem

Yeah maybe a hunk of dirt got stuck in there somewhere.

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump

Maybe a critter got in there and did a little damage to a wire.

That was my first thought. It would be nice to have it scanned before I get under it to help narrow it down.

Yeah I think you need something like a Tech2 to scan ABS... maybe find a shop and ask nicely for them to scan your ABS system?

I don't think I've ever been in an F body without an ABS light on.
