    Diesel Performance Shops

Are there's any in the Pittsburgh area that deal in the 6.7L Cummins engines? Looking to put some goodies on my new 2012 Ram and want to check out some of the options first hand before ordering some parts.

Better hurry up and order the deletes/tuner while you can. Read on another forum that the EPA has cracked down on companies making them. H&S for one will no longer offer tuners with delete tunes and Edge is another one. The price of that stuff has gone way up too.

Just buy a tuner and the delete pipe. I hear the job isn't too bad, I know a guy who deleted his '12 Ram :)

Summit has the pipe, bought the tuner private party. Go with H&S, plenty of shops still stock them.

Andy's a great guy to deal with. I frequent there a good bit, even though he just bought a trans am!

Since the EPA issues, some big companies took big fines and some shut down. I'd recommend once you delete your truck, keep all the emissions things just for the future. I personally think it'll blow over once the EPA gets there fun for a while. I'm currently in the process of regathering all my emissions things just incase. Which is ridiculous because my truck averages about 11.0 mpg with emissions components.

Plan on doing the work myself, but looking for someone with more knowledge on the Cummins and what all they like and don't. Plus I would like to possible hear some exhaust setups before I buy one. Going with a 5" exhaust for sure, but still up in the air if I want to run a muffler or not.

I have the 4" with nothing but the factory resonator and it is dead quiet, except while decelerating with the exhaust brake on.

I have a an MBRP 4" deleted with a muffler. It sounds great but I'll be removing the muffler to make it a little louder.

I'd go straight 4" or 5", whichever you can get a better deal on. Appearance wise they'll both look the same at the tip because you can choose any size outlet you want. Performance wise you won't see a difference unless pushing some serious power through the exhaust like upgraded twins/injectors/etc.

Good luck and post up some pics.
