    Going rate for 5.0 rebuild

What is the going rate these days on a stock rebuild for 5.0 engine for bottom end/heads?

1991 Completely stock motor. Not concerned about performance this is for a resto. Motor ran fine prior to removal but has 200k miles on it.

Late model resto has rebuilt long blocks for 2k shipped to my door, no core charge.

Russ - last fall I was about one day from taking the motor ( 289 ) from my '66 GT to the nice guys at StreetLethal for a complete rebuild...and then we had a garage sale and a guy came and bought the car AS IS ( original motor / heads were out of the car, ready for me to load into my truck ). I wasn't even trying to sell the car at the time. Their prices were very very good and they do all the machining in-house. On top of that they were very patient in answering my questions ( and I had a lot of them ). I think talking with them is a great idea.
