    1964 Continental

Here's the official thread I'll be using/updating with the progress made on the Lincoln. Here's some photos of how the car sits now after a wash and a slight detailing session:

Interior was slightly moldy from moisture leaking into the trunk. It cleaned up semi-nicely:

    Some very long trim pieces:

The door handles have to be my favorite part of the interior:

The wiring for the windows is going to be a future nightmare to deal with, including trying to rebuild the switches:

The duct tape is the only place on the whole car hiding a spot that rusted through:

    Rust:

    Crystal clear glass:

    430 cu.in. MEL V8

Wipers cleaned up very well, they look new in person:

The trunk's so big it's got its own zip code. Hence why I needed to take 2 photos lol. Also removed all of the rotted trunk paneling and scraped out all the factory sound deadening:

And that's the progress made on it today, now that we finally had an above freezing day. Hopefully within the next two weeks I'll have the carburetor rebuilt, all the fluids changed and have it drivable!

Yeah even just clean it up and rock the vintage patina would be cool.

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump

I understand everyone loves the rat rod kind of approach with cars, but for me, this is the route I'll be going:

Air ride eventually. 22's are way too big for me, which seems to be the size of choice that everyone else goes with. This Forza 4 rendering has 20's.

    Order of importance:

Make it legal (brake lights/wipers, etc. don't work)
    Make it drivable
    Paint it black
Drive the shit out of it
    Custom black interior/audio/trunk
    Air ride/wheels/tires

I've seen youtube videos of it, it's definitely a bad ride. For mine, I want more stance and appeal than power.
