    not like we've all never seen this before... i bet its one of those situations where the guy's wife is forcing him to sell it, so he goes and throws an unrealistic price on it... and at the end of the day, he can go back to his wife and say "sorry hunny - must be the economy - no one wants to buy it"... meanwhile he just doesn't wanna get rid of it

    Yep. Lots of stupid people out there. Everything I own is always for sale even if I want to keep it. I've thrown cars on the market for WAY to much and had them sell unexpectedly.

    I sold a wrecked modded Dodge Avenger for 2200 on Craigslist. People will buy anything haha.. That car wasn't worth much more than 1000.. I had so many calls and people wanting to come look at it, I think I actually screwed myself. I probably could have gotten 3,000 out of it. The person who bought it off of me didn't even haggle the price, he thought it was good. Damnit :(

    Agreed. Classic case of the wife wanting it gone but the husband has no interest in parting with it.
