I might just make my own. The one I have looks like garage. Some off brand one that came with the car.

I have the beast aka JLT Tru CAI LOL. It's just 4" PVC piping basically. Its wicked cause you can just hear it sucking in the air..

I have some shitty intake elbow on mine. I wanna get a JLT but no way I'm paying $200+ for a couple pieces of PVC pipe and rubber elbows. Speaking of... I should check the air filter since I have the bumper off.

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump

Exactly. I'm not spending 200+ on it. Rather out that money else where. I'm thinking since I never drive it in the rain maybe making the filter go deep into the fender.

Mines just down in the fender well. This car doesnt see rain, salt, snow either. Its garage kept and only gets at max 3,000 miles per year.. So I didn't see a big deal with having a filter in the fender well.

Are you using catch cans? How much oily residue was on your intercooler?

No offense, but that's just stupid. I'm guessing you went with the CAI/tuner combo from AM?

No I had an all stock PCV. The inner-cooler and intake where covered in oil just like they always are when I pull the blower. Plugged the port in the intake and just plan to run breathers

I'll probably end up doing the same, I've heard mixed reviews on catch cans. Especially the jlt cans.

Indeed I did. I spent to much money. The tuner was majority of the cost. I should have just bought them used.

Just ordered some Redline Tuning hood struts for the car that is still sitting in a lot in Detroit waiting to be loaded onto a train... Ordered from LateModelRestoration - website worked very well and the price wasn't too bad. Free shipping. They should be here next week.
