I didnt bother stripping it because it was pretty clean so I just washed it with armor all soap, cloth dried it.
Then I used Meguiars Gold Class wax and spent about 2 hours getting it completely waxed to get that gloss look. It came out good. Ive never used the gold class before but I think it went on extremely good and its easy to wipe off. It was dirt cheap at Walmart, I think 10.97?

Looks good but, like my car, needs lowered!

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump

Yeah I know haha. I have new wheels so it will help a little bit compared to the eye sore it is now. Next year I'll buy some suspension stuff. I'm about maxed out for the year. I'll lower it down to about Bullitt height.

Finally lowered it and installed the new lower control arms. Much better. Pulls so smooth. It's about an inch lower. Now hopefully I can get away with an alignment without cc plates.

Yep he's right......mine aligns perfectly in specs and I don't have them......keep in mind Saleens are lowered from factory and they don't have them either. You will just have to drill out the rivets that hold them in place. The rivets are used for assembly line only and can be removed. Gives you a decent amount of travel once you do.

I really like them. No issues yet. Not sure about wet traction but dry traction seems good. I get more comments at cruises about the tread pattern than anything else on the car. :D

Do you have a pic of the rivet that needs drilled? I'll tell them at the ford dealer tomorrow to remove them if they need to.
Edit: I'll look in the morning. I'm sure the ford dealership will know to remove them. Thanks for the tip.

New battery, oil changed, burnt some rust off the brakes. Tried to polish the wheels...failed. Think they need cleaned up and then polished. As some dumb ass left them on the car all winter. Ah well another day for that. Ready to beat the hell out of it this weekend.
