Look, as long as I have been on SCS, Mark has been a smug prick to me. Whatever, we are not friends, I don't care. But when he starts attacking me over my opinions about stuff, I'm going to fire back. Learn some humility. Just because rules change and cars get faster doesn't mean you are a better driver or know more about anything than the guys who came before you. Our lap times may not be as fast, but we were pushing what we had at the time to the edge of the envelope. In road racing, that meant going deep and fast enough into turns to make you wet your pants so we could carry more momentum. Today, it's a different game. But no more competitive. And I have you beat, because when I was club racing, most of my piers liked me. Guys like Mark Donohue were my idols.

As far as my being sad for the fate of a limited edition Anny Mustang, f*ck me, I thought this was a Mustang forum??? It's not like I protested, I just said it was sad. From there I knew you would come back with some sort of insult, I was just waiting to laugh out loud. And now your bully buddies are piling on. You don't even know your Ford history. The GT-350 was a pet project of Edsel Ford, because Mustang sales were slumping and all Ford cared about was Escorts, Tempos, and F150s. Edsel sent down the word that there was to be a limited edition 20th Anny Mustang and it would also give a nod to the original Shelby 350. When word trickled down through Ford that Edsel was still enthusiastic for performance Mustangs, it paved the way for more performance upgrades in 85, 86, 87, 89, 93, and gave berth to the modern pony car. Without that humble but sincere push by Edsel, the FWD Probe/Mustang could have been a reality.

I truly hate this Forum.... what a waste.
