It rained on the car while I had it at work on Wednesday, so that night I washed her up and applied another coat of Four Star Ultimate that I bought from T. I let it sit / bond overnight and buffed it off last night. This stuff is amazing. The finish is so deep and bright. After parking at work today I had to just stand there and stare at it. Once I talked down my wood, I walked into work.

After a year of debating whether or not to turbo the gt500..I'm going with a VMP TVS. The simplicity of it and the potential of 700+ at the wheels got me. My turbo kit has been collecting dust. Time to move on. I'll save the turbo hassles for the track car.

Guess that means you're keeping it? I tried to get my buddy to buy your car a couple weeks ago, but he was dead set on getting a silver one and ended up buying an 11 GT500 up near Kittanning. Good luck with the build. Let us know what kind of #'s you put down

Well everything is always for sale for the right price. The more I think about selling it I ask myself what I would get if I sold it..I can't think of anything I'd rather own right now. Then I seen Ron's thread with his 66, I would love to hang on to a car that long. Is your friend a member on here?

Yeah, that would definitely be a nice car to hang onto for a while. It's something you could do little things to here and there over the course of many years. With the TVS it'll be a whole different animal. Gonna need some sticky tires for the rear soon after. I've got Toyo R888's on my car and they give decent traction while still being able to handle some rain. Thinking of going with drag radials next time though. My buddy is technically a member on here, but I don't think he gets on anymore. He sold his 99 cobra a couple years ago and was looking to get back into the game. He settled on a 11/12 GT500 and ended up settling on a silver 11 with like 1300 miles on it.

I traded it for this black one late last year. It was one headache after another with that car and I never really liked silver all that much anyways. This one had a few issues too, but I've got most everything ironed out now. It needed to have the fuel system upgraded and a good tune. I patched up the fuel system and had a remote Lund tune done at Mike's shop. Pretty fun car and I'm happy with it for now. We'll see how long that lasts, lol.

I took a trip to Summit yesterday to pick up a 6 pt cage for my 86. Didn't want to pay the 99 shipping, and gave me an excuse to check out the discount rack. Ended up getting a $170 ticket...shoulda just paid the shipping...

Cost me $45 in gas. I left with a full tank, and filled my 2014 Mustang GT M6 with 93 when I got back. I got 25mpg. Not too shabby.

I got pulled over for 80 in a 65 on the Turnpike. Wrote me up for disobeying traffic sign. $10 fine, $160 in fees.
