I was just looking at ideas for friends that were going to wrap their cars. I'd love to switch up my car but never felt like spending the money on a wrap, plus I'm kind of a fan of the Comp Orange vert haha.

I agree that car looks boring, but I think it would look awesome on yours. That color is so sick.

Yeah Kevin, he said that seems to be the most popular thing to do with it. Would be something different but nice i think.

Got a bunch of samples in last week, can't decide what I like the most, but narrowed it down to two (although, they forgot to put in one of the colors I ordered). a bright metallic silver and a very dark grey metallic.

Oracal looked the "best" to me & held up to me rubbing my finger nail over it without having too much of a change in texture. Speaking of texture, these vinyls are all a lot more satin/dull-gloss than I had expected. At least the metallic samples were, the non-metallics looked pretty matte (only ordered a 3M dark grey, very bland & showed finger nail marks really easily)

Wrapping a car with vinyl will pretect the paint for the most part if good vinyl is used, I prefer 180C with Laminate. This material is usually around 5-9 dollars a square foot depending on design, but also when a car is wrapped we use an adhesive around some of the edges that would most likely peel up, it's called primer and this won't hurt the vehicle either it's just a glue that wipes off with alcohol. Good vinyl is warrantied for 7 years by most companies but after 4 years it will become hard to remove and the longer you have on the more risk you take of the sun cracking the decal up, mainly on hoods and roofs.
Thank you so much for getting back to me, I really appreciate it!! Your car looks wild!! I doubt I will keep the vinyl on for more than a year, as it'll probably get marred up from driving and bug me lol
