    Twin Hi-Way Drive-In reopening!

I just saw the marquee at the Twin Hi-Way drive-in, in Robinson. They're reopening this spring! Maybe it's a late April fools joke since we'll never see spring. The classic drive-in cruise is back!

The sign has said that for a while now, I hope they're serious

My wife and I go to the local drive-ins at least twice a month here, we have 2 fairly close. Its one of our favorite things to do since we can take our dog and our baby daughter. Its cool to hear that one is re-opening in the 'burgh. Its a rarity these days to see that much real estate being dedicated to a drive-in.

What was the last movie anyone can remember seeing in a drive-in? The last one I clearly remember is the first Star Wars in the 70s. I couldn't have been older than 5. I know there must have been a couple more after that, but it's fuzzy. No Dolby Digital or THX deafening me, but how nice will it be to not have to pay 10-12 bucks, be able to lean back in your own seat, and not have little jerk-off kids making noise or kicking seats?!

We went last year to the Dependable and saw Cars with my son. They have been open in Moon Twp on Moon Clinton Rd all along.

They used to only have porno movies. Not anymore. LOL

Mark - There is a drive-in at Hopewell (Kane Rd Drive in). It is literally in my backyard (almost). I can drive to it in 2 minutes.

Went last year and saw Superman. Had the top down then it started to rain

You mean the sign on 151 passing Kane Road? Yep thats the drive in just down the road about 1/2 mile (and you'll pass right by my plan)

It may not be the best drive-in, but they are open every summer

My wife and I go to the movies every Tuesday. Went to see Disturbia last night. Noticed the sign a few weeks ago. We are looking forward to going up there. Its only about 5 minutes from our house.
