All this video shows is that it takes a stroker Ford to run with bolt-on & cam LS cars. lol It does seem to run pretty good though.

I'm sure you would too. This is a mustang forum after all haha. But while we're on the subject, you're talking about a 135 cubic inch difference in your imaginary video (416 cu inches vs a 2v/3v's 281 cu inches). This original poster's vid is only a 62 cubic inch or less difference (not sure about what's in the Holden though? Didn't look like an actual race anyway).
A better comparison "from the other side" would be the 416 you mentioned vs. a 363 stang or something

Stroker yes,
but how many cubes are the C6 vettes?
Pretty close...... heads up.
That gal has some lungs!

1966 Oldsmobile Toronado - currently NOT on jackstands
Damn fast cars...but not a fan of the night racing in traffic like the first bunch...
Keep it safe if you screw around like that.

Best comparison is a 302 vs 305 from the late 80's to early 90's.
Old Ford small block technology with (let's be generous) 20k in mods
VS
Late model high tech Corvette that costs how much more?
I still think the boy did alright!
This may come as a shock, but some people like to do more than go faster in a straight line with their car. Hell some knuckleheads would even pay more for a stylish new car with current technology verses a creaky old shitbox built on a 30 year old fairmont chassies.
pot consider yourself stirred
You think a 408 SBF Windsor costs 20K to build and make fast??
Or did I read that wrong?
My 20 year old tech is the newest "hot rod" I have ever owned....lol!
My last car was a 64 Fairlane, now that's a "shitbox" as you called it.
My 93 feels "modern", besides, anybody can go buy a floor model.
