This will probably hurt some butts, but I don't care

Wrapping up the LSX swap on my Fox & just wanted wanted to post a video of it running. It's a stock 5.3 for the time being. My main objective was to have it appear as if it was originally built this way. The only things that don't look factory are the -6 fuel line feed & the air intake, which wast even built when I made this video. From what we can tell running it in the garage, it still kind of sounds like a 5.0 Mustang. Should have it out for shakedown as soon as the weather cooperates.

Looks like a nice clean install. Only thing that stands out to me is the two heater hoses??? Tie strapped together. Look unfactory to me. Be interesting to see how the car runs as is. Any mods planned for it?

The heater hoses actually drive me up a wall. That is one of the few things that I absolutely hate about it. The zip ties are just to keep the hoses together until I come up with something cleaner. I'm real curious as to how it is going to run as is also. Future plans call for a little bit of boost. I was really wanting to try doing a turbo setup, but I think I'm leaning more toward a D-1SC ProCharger down the road & probably a few more inches.

I'd try and find some alumimum tubing that would allow you to route them closer and around the strut tower...

Ha you're right, it does sound a bit like a 5.0 still. Nice work on the build!

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump
