clutch chatter on my 02 gt

Hey everyone i just bought a 2002 mustang gt last week and this is my first standard. Before we get ahead of ourselves yes i know how to drive standards lol.
Anyways the dealership claimed it has a new clutch pressure plate throwout bearing etc. and that theres was only about 20 miles put on it from the time i took delivery

They showed me the reciept and used all ford parts. I believe its all new to an extent becausethis thing grabs instantly. But my main concern is no matter what i do how easy i let off the clutch when pulling out in first or backing up it chatters, bucks almost like im letting the clutch out to much. Theres no noises no grinding, and i put about 300 easy miles on it so far thinking maybe it needs broken in. I just wanted to see your guys opinions before i go back to the dealership and make an ass out of myself.

So is this a common problem? Or.. Thanks

Chatter is not a common problem with these cars. Did they resurface or replace the flywheel? I would take it back to the dealer - they should stand behind their work. Was it a Ford dealer?

A lot of the time we need to put on a good 500-1000 miles for our cars to break in the clutch.. However, if there were 20 miles put on and the idiots from the stelearship were out driving it hard, it could cause a problem. I'd take it in and make them verify that there isn't an issue..

You need to dump it from 6K a few times to settle the flywheel and pressure plate....oh wait, nevermind the dealer already probably covered that for you.

They probably didn't bother turning the fly wheel. Take it back

If its a used car warranty then more than likely the clutch will be considered a "wear" item like brakes or belts. I would be impressed if they do the right thing and help you out with it.

Good glad to hear. I didn't even think about the clutch cable being bad.
