Ben.
I've used and towed a bunch of trailers. Why do you want an open deck...other than to save a little weight? I have a H&H 18' tilt deck. The deck is 18' with no beavertail. My 2001 F-150 Super Crew w/ 5.4L tows it with no problems.
It's awesome......not for sale though, just wanted to provide some trailer input.
Isn't yours an open deck as opposed to enclosed trailer? Maybe I should have said Just OPEN. Lol

I consider an "open deck" to be one with only a "deck" where the cars tires set on it. This is what came up when I googled "open deck car trailers"..........actually it was about 50/50 solid decks and the open deck as seen below.
Yeah, he wants a closed floor, just an "open" trailer.
