It's no Third Gen, but I'd hit it.

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump

This is true, but what I meant was peeps will be ripping that thing off like crazy.
I read on another site the MSRP will be "on par" with the current ZL1 --- $55K.
Like somebody said above, I think the 1LE is the best looking of the bunch. They should give it the same diet as the Z/28.
$55k for a Camaro?!?!?! That is nuts, just like it's insane that a damn Mistang costs that much.

1966 Oldsmobile Toronado - currently NOT on jackstands
there are things I like and things I dont like. According to motor trend they said they were told that the base price would be close to 60k.
With that said. If its true and it does cost that, Seems its just being built to give buyers another option instead of the zl1.
lol All the chevy guys should probably wait a few weeks till Ford announces the details of the 2015 stang before talking crap. We all know what happened last time they got all pumped about their ZL1 - Ford said "o rlly?!" and released the details of the '13 GT500 and completely owned them. Shut up the chevy fan boys realllll quick

If Ford would bring back a stripped base model Mustang with a 3 valve 4.6 option
they would way, way, way outsell the Camaro in total unit sales.
The fact is Ford doesn't care if Mustang is the sales leader in this segment.
They care more about Ford CAFE mpg average and total units sold.
And they are leading the US industry in that regard.
Look up the history of Mustang, the base V8 models account for a large percentage of
total Mustang sales. This gets back to the original pony car concept. A base model with
a small V8 for the pony car vibe. The 4.6 is the modern base V8 and if it was an option
on the base model Mustang it would generate a lot more sales.
Smaller, cheaper to produce, get better gas mileage, but it still performs well
enough to be exciting and has aftermarket parts if desired. From a marketing
standpoint, it also keeps in place the upgrade to the GT 5.0
Most people who bought the 4.6 base models would be folks just looking for
sporty transportation rather than a fire breathing road car.
The problem with Mustang sales, it has strayed too far from its roots.
The V8 cars range from expensive, to poor man exotics.
