    Oil Cooler on SBF?

I'm getting ready to retool the Ranger with some more cubes via a stroked 351W. The truck has always ran a little warm so during the revamp I'm going to redo the cooling system with a better shroud around the electric puller fan and redirecting airflow to capture more through the radiator. I am also considering an oil cooler to help add a little capacity and possibly drop the temps some.

Does anyone have some experience with oil coolers?? I can install it rather easily since I have a remote oil filter kit installed...basically required for a Ranger V8 swap. I'm also already running a remote trans cooler w/ an electric fan. There are oil coolers that also have fans.....would this be a waste of money or worth while?

After making this post I did some googling and reading, it seems that tweaking the cooling system to optimize it would be best rather than mess with an oil cooler.

    Still looking for input though.

    Thanks.

Starting this week I'm going to work on disassembling the Ranger. Getting around on one crutch but can walk without it....carefully.

    I saw that player.....horrible!!!
