    Freak-O-Boost

Saw an interesting article from SCT today and thought I'd share. This might be old news for some people, but I found it to be a pretty good read!

I've got a pretty healthy old-school 4-eyed car. It's got an Edelbrock carb, Performer intake & aluminum heads, E303 Cam, its all balanced, underdrive pulleys, roller rockers, MAC shorties, 2 1/2" mandrel bent exhaust, Centerforce clutch, Hurst shifter, and 3.55 gears. It runs good and feels great.

I just wish it was as fast as my tuned 6-cylinder automatic Lincoln MKS!

Now, this is an engine that should def. be offered in a middle-tier, stripped down Mustang! not the outdated 4.6 3V that somebody was talking about a few days ago.

it could be the Mustang TT.

It does seem like a good motor, but, good luck working on that motor while it's in the truck. God forbid you happen to have an electrical issue! I love fords but I'll stick to my pushrods truck, 60 year old proven technology is good enough for me

Ford's durability testing didn't mean much when it comes to the 6.0s, 6.4s, and 6.7s. Remember hearing similar indestructibility claims about those (which were proven to often be terrible in the real world). Will be interested to see how these actually hold up with some real miles on them.
