Not trying to be a dick but NHSCC is not affiliated with the SCCA, although they do have autocrosses. All cars running with them must have current plates and registration.

on a side note, so are you saying steel cities will let you run a car w/o current plates and registration?

Absolutely. Guys run go carts there as well. The only reason you can't run unregistered cars at North Park is they consider the lot a public road. All the SCCA events are done on private property or closed roads (hillclimbs). I plan on running my AS car when I finally get the thing running to work some bugs out before the hillclimbs, unfortunately can not run at NP. Great group of guys out there and make good use of the tiny lot.

know a guy who just bought an fr500 and since you cant register them nhscc would not let him run it

Yeah, that sucks. Just tell him to make the trek to run with the AHR or SCR guys.
