    Need Wheel touch up advice

Well, its the first time ive ever put a scratch on any of my cars.
Its sad because i just bought these wheels and tires a few months ago. I
mis-judged the distance and hit my front right wheel on the curb. Got a nice
gash/road rash about 2 inches long. It makes me sick but cant don anything
except try to fix it. Is there anyone who fixes things like this? I mean my wheels
arent the most expensive set but I just got them. They are charcoal colored AMR
Wheels. Could touch up paint be the easy fix? Just wanting some advice
    thanks

Looks like something that can be filed down and then blend the finish in? Not really too sure but doesn't look too terrible from the pics.

If it looks good, you'll see it. If it sounds good, you'll hear it. If it's marketed right, you'll buy it. But if it's real, you'll feel it. IG: @donuttrump

Yeah it's not THAT bad, it's just got me bummed. Is this a spray can job? Small bottle of touch up paint? Any suggestions

I wouldn't mess with a spray can, I'd think that can get messy. Id file it down, then get the paint from the manufacturer and just apply it nice and even with a brush. Hit it with the satin finish and then you can smooth it out. You're gonna see a small difference because you're taking material out, but I'm sure it will end up much better. Check out YouTube there are tons of videos on paint/wheel repairs.

Try visiting some of the local dealerships and ask a service manager who they use to repair wheels. This is a common occurrence and they should be able to recommend someone...

Jeez that's a bummer. I like SteelTown's advice - you might pay a little more, but chances are you'll be happier with the results.

Yeah, I got my wheels through American muscle. I think they make the wheels, ill give them a call and see if they have touch up paint. I'll sand it down and touch it up. Hopefully if it comes out nice so I won't have to have it done by someone else.

I'm not trying to sound like an ass, but paint will touch up what paint was lost, not the material. Paying the cash up front will treat you better in the future...
