This car came to us literally as a roller off the tilt bed! The inside of the car was stuffed with all the parts, nuts, bolts etc. Motor and transmission came out of the back of a pickup truck! Customer had a falling out with another shop that originally built the car and ultimately he waited until we could get him in and piece this thing back together!
We completely reassembled this car rebuilding and upgrading many parts along the way. The heart of the car is a fully built motor from our engine builder that contains custom cams, ported heads, all stuffed into an aluminum Ford GT block. When this car was first built by the other shop some of the newer better air inlet parts weren't available, we upgraded his CAI to the JLT SBA and his tiny TB was swapped out for the KB 168MM unit, this certainly has helped get more air into the 2.8 KB Mammoth that sits on top of the engine! After many missing parts, bad parts, 9" overhaul and several other upgrades we finally got the car on the dyno @ 17lbs for some initial tuning. We need to make a minor tweak to the ignition system but the car made pretty respectable power on the break in tune! Once the customer gets some miles on the new motor we are going to tweak the ignition, finish his pump gas tune and then put some real fuel, boost and RPM to this beast!
