Question Mildly built (1966) 289 question???

Here we go again with the AC Cobra: http://pittsburgh.craigslist.org/cto/3672339854.html

From the info. in this write-up anybody have a good guess on HP? I'm guessing 300-320 crank hp? without any cam info. it's kinda tough.

Don't really dig the color, but from what I've been able to find FiberFab and Doug Nash are now out of business, but decent companies at the time???

This seems like the correct forum to post in since the engine is from a '66 plus there's only 4 other threads here.

Without knowing the internals I wouldn't figure it having more than 270 at the crank

Don't like the color or wheels. It would have to be blue with white stripes and the knock off wheels.

I'd go with a Factory Five for that kind of $$.
2014 GT Premium - Sterling Gray Metallic - MT82 - Track Pack - Glass Roof - Recaro seats - Spoiler delete
12.76 @ 114.04 bone stock. Koni yellow coil-overs, BMR watts, LCA and LCA relo brackets, Borla S-type axle back.

1966 Coupe - 331 stroker - Bullet custom roller cam - cam and motor installed and dyno tuned by Rodeheavers Hot Rod - Astro A5 - McLeod RXT - 486 to the wheels - more fun than my little tires can handle

1966 Oldsmobile Toronado - currently NOT on jackstands

66 289 regular heads are small cc heads just like 289 hipo heads, so that should help compression
